Death - it's real. We all have a death sentence- we just don't know when that's going to be. So many of us are utterly scared to meditate, reflect or face the fact that we are all going to die. Why is our own mortality such a taboo topic? Other societies educate their members about the reality of death and the processes of dying and grieving. We do not. We are left to figure it out for ourselves. We don’t know what to say, what to do, how to cope or to grieve. And that's not ideal. Prepping ourselves for that day will only help us gain clarify on the present moment - realize what is most important in life. Realize what matters. Realize this (hopefully) well ahead of time, rather than figuring out the answer on your deathbed. It can all be accomplished so well in advance with proper discussion, an open mind and an acute curiosity.
